We conduct a thorough walk around the entire perimeter of the home, and any outbuildings, looking for any issues that may need to be addressed. This report is always emailed to you before we even leave your driveway.

For the Exterior, here is a sample of what we check:

• Signs of forced entry, vandalism, theft or squatters.
• Broken windows, torn or damaged screens
• Damaged gutters or roof shingles
• Erosion or drainage problems
• Damage caused by fallen trees or limbs
• Check to see if landscape maintenance has been performed
• Pest intrusions
• Check outdoor faucets for leakage
• Suspicious activity
• Check all doors/accessible windows to make sure they're locked and secured
• Collect any newspapers , flyers, mail, or junk mail from your mailbox, property or porch

For the Interior, we check all floors, including the basement. Here is a sample of what we check:

• Check thermostat for proper settings and operation
• Examine all doors, windows and sliders to ensure they are locked and secure and not leaking
• Security System
• Smoker Detectors
• Electrical circuit breakers are not tripped
• Operate all faucets and flush toilets to prevent the P-trap from losing it's seal by evaporation
• Garbage disposal functioning
• Visual supply lines for leaks or stains under sinks and around toilets
• Heat/AC is functioning at proper temperature
• Ensure all doors/windows are locked
• Check water softener/water filter for leaks and verify salt level
• Operate garage door opener to check drive chain mechanism
• Propane/Oil Levels are adequate
• Investigate any noises, alarms, beeps or odors
• Bulbs on timer lights are checked to insure they are not burned out
• Check for visual pest infestations
• Turn on lights and fans throughout house
• Refrigerators and freezers are functioning properly and food has not spoiled
• Operate a rinse cycle on the Dishwasher
• Place all mail & delivery items in a specific location

We check over 60 different data points! If a problem is detected and requires immediate attention, we'll contact you and work with you to ensure the matter is addressed.

If you're away, and an impending storm is approaching, we can contact you to alert you ahead of time.

• We can go to your property and secure items such as potted plants, gas grills, and lawn furniture and place them in a garage or shed.

Following the storm's passing, we can return to you home and check the following:

• Inspect exterior & interior for storm damage
• Make sure the utilities aren’t interrupted
• Check interior for any tripped circuit breakers
• Reset clocks on appliances after power failures
• Check fire/smoke/CO2 alarms
• Security System Operation
• Verify Shingle & Siding Condition where viewable
• Other Items Specific to Your Property

If property is damaged, we will triage it and advise you to prevent further damage. Additional repairs will be quoted by us at that time based on time/materials. Larger jobs will be subcontracted using our local referral partners and we will obtain a quick quote for you, so you don’t have to. We can also remain on site while contractors are present.
